EEC-SP-AP Filtration system

1-Description of filters :

-EEC filters are available in manual or automatic types.

-Our standard filters are produced in two series, AP-Series which are applicable for sewage and water treatment plants, and SP-series which are applicable for swimming pools applications we also produce other standards according to customer request.

-Filter tanks are constructed from carbon steel dished ends and body with fully welded construction.

-The tanks are internally sand blasted epoxy coated up to 300 micron, and externally have a primer coat, then painted with blue color paint.

-Standard dishes are torispherical heads, but by special request other shapes are manufactured

-Distribution systems, consist of either lateral under drain PVC pipes pierced to a specific sizes, or nozzles that are threaded and uniformly distributed in a steel plate. Both systems maintain uniform flow of water that assures high efficiency of filtration.

-Inspection doors have standard dimensions of 42 x 35 cm, elliptical shape.

-Specific flow rates for SP filters are 40 m3/m2/hr.

-Specific flow rates for AP filters are 20 m3/m2/hr.

2- Filtration process :

-We supply our filters with or without filter media according to customer request.
Water filters have filter beds that consist of two layers of sand with different granual size at the top, followed by two layers of gravel.The sand layers are arranged with the largest granual layer at the top followed by the smaller granual layer, This arrangement allows a high filtration velocity which helps flocculation of suspended matters, and therefore results in a high filtrate quality.

-Swimming pool filters have filter bed that consists of deep layers of sand that allows high dirt holding capacity followed by two holding layers of gravel.Filtrate quality reaches a size of 5 - 7 microns of suspended matters.

3- Pressure control

-For pressure control, each filter is equipped with two pressure gauges on the inlet and outlet of the filter to indicate the pressure drop, when pressure drop reaches the max. Allowable drop, backwash of the filter must be operated. In Automatic filter this process is done automatically using a timer and diaphragm valves that open and close automatically according to the required program (filtration - backwash - rinse) .
